Artec Group announces the creation of Artec Industrial |
On June 1st 2007, Artec Group proudly launched its latest daughter company. Adding to Artec's already impressive array of in-house competence pool, Artec Industrial provides industrial design services to the group's other companies and to new customers on the market for product conceptualization, industrial design and 3-D modeling.
"With the creation of Artec Industrial, we have acquired a significant skill-set that positions us extremely well on the international market, enabling a completely in-house production cycle, from drawing board to production line," said Artec Group CEO, Mr.Gustav Poola.
Artec Industrial is headed by Mr.Tiit Liiv, an industry-acclaimed industrial designer with over 15 years of international experience, including 9 years at leading Finnish industrial design powerhouses, in addition to significant freelance ventures with international customers in Estonia, Finland, Norway and USA, for the creation of advanced medical diagnostic equipment and innovative telecommunication devices.
"We foresee a tremendous growth for mechanical design services in the Baltic-Scandinavian market and, combined with our existing electronic design and manufacturing services, we now have an extremely competitive position for offering complete solutions," Liiv emphasized. |
